CASE STUDY #1*
Knee Injury: Eight (8) year old boy fell and severely cut his knee. Stitches layered, in order to sew up the tissue properly. Mother noticed scarring was pulling on the knee joint and the leg. Boy was NOT walking/running normally.
I worked on the scar five (5) times. After the 4th session, [John*] was walking normally again. There was no obvious tissue pulling on the knee or the leg. After the 5th session, able to run normally with no running-gait problem.
ROSE'S NOTE:
If this child had gone through life with the scar affecting his gait like it was, he most likely would have had many problems with pain and many imbalances throughout his body causing dysfunctional stress leading to pain, and wear and tear on joints and tissue, as it compensated tying to walk/run around the pull of the scar tissue.
