ScarWork is rarely painful - even for very new scars, and the amount of change in one intervention can be extensive. The cosmetic effect is welcomed by everyone and the functional changes can be profound. Natural and surgical scars of any age respond immediately followed by a short period of rapid healing and continued improvement. The improvements are permanent.
Transforming Lives
Scar tissue quality changes quickly and easily. Lumps, gaps, ridges, holes, bumps, knots, and strings in the tissue rapidly smooth out into a three dimensional fascial web. Rose starts with the scar's surface layers and goes deep into involved viscera. This work can resolve nerve-impaired numbness and balance the body from its trauma.
Open Heart Surgery: Seventy-one- (71) year-old woman, scar from open-heart surgery. Primary scar runs entire length of sternum and just below it. Other scars (holes for tubes) near the bottom of the scar. Client complains of restriction in her chest and some breathing difficulty.
After 4 sessions, [Natalie*] was feeling results. Commented how much more open her chest felt and how much easier it was to breathe. Treatment allowed her ribs to move more freely, allowing the lungs more room to expand.

TRANSFORM Your Scars Painlessly
Knee Injury: Eight (8) year old boy fell and severely cut his knee. Stitches layered, in order to sew up the tissue properly. Mother noticed scarring was pulling on the knee joint and the leg. Boy was NOT walking/running normally.

I worked on the scar five (5) times. After the 4th session, [John*] was walking normally again. There was no obvious tissue pulling on the knee or the leg. After the 5th session, able to run normally with no running-gait problem.
If this child had gone through life with the scar affecting his gait like it was, he most likely would have had many problems with pain and many imbalances throughout his body causing dysfunctional stress leading to pain, and wear and tear on joints and tissue, as it compensated tying to walk/run around the pull of the scar tissue.
